The Killers are taking a break

The Killers plan to go their separate ways in 2010, announcing a break from touring during this year raising speculation of a spit in the band.

The band’s lead guitarist - Dave Keuning has confirmed in the media today that the Killers are to take a break from touring.

The band are currently finishing their 'Day And Age' tour dates in  the Far East and Australia, with the last show scheduled for Melbourne on February 21st – and as it appears according to speculation it may be the last time fans can see the band perform together live.

Keuning is quoted in the Associated Press today saying, "I'm not sure if people are aware of it but these are probably our last shows for a while. Unless some surprise thing comes up... We're having a break.

"We haven't had a break in quite a while. It's just been touring and making records and on and on and on.

It's been like six years just kind of connected together. We just want a little bit of time off, just to be myself and do what I want to do for a little bit." – That’s great Keuning – make way for some bands who would ‘Kill’ to be in your position! We hope you enjoy your time off, and perhaps we will see some of you on the new American X-Factor! – When it all goes wrong…. watch this space.
